NEW NOKIA ANDROID PHONE:- Nokia's X Series new phones run on arch rival Google's Android

Image
At an event in  Mobile World Congress  in Barcelona, Nokia announced three smartphones powered by Android, a mobile operating system created by Google. The company has launched the phones — Nokia X, Nokia X+  and  Nokia XL  — just weeks before it is scheduled to close sale of its phone business to Microsoft. Google and Microsoft are competitors in the smartphone market. This has led to speculation that Nokia X phones may not survive for long. Nokia X phones are developed keeping emerging markets like India in mind. In most of these markets,  Android  dominates — in India, the market share is around 90% — and Nokia hopes to woo consumers with the Android tag attached to its phones. These phones have modest hardware specifications and are likely to be priced between Rs 9,000 and Rs 12,000 in India. The Nokia X is likely to be available in India next month, while the other two phones will be available in Q2, 2014. Nokia is using the open source version of Android, which i

The internet is alive with the news that Mr Koum, 37, and Mr Acton, 42, have  sold WhatsApp to Facebook for $19bn (£11.4bn) . Meet Edison: A computer that is smaller than an SD card

Image
LAS VEGAS: How small a computer can get? If you ask   Intel   it is already as small as an SD card! On Monday, Intel unveiled Edison, a computer housed in an "SD card form factor". The device uses Quark microprocessor technology that was shown by Intel a few months ago. Intel CEO Brian Krzanich   said that the "computer" is meant to be used in wearable smart devices like a health tracker or in everyday products like coffee mugs that has to be connected to the internet.   Edison has built-in wireless capabilities and support for multiple operating systems. "It is a full system. It's a full Pentium-class PC in the form factor of an SD card," said Krzanich. Edison will be available in the middle of 2014.   "Wearables are not everywhere today because they aren't yet solving real problems and they aren't yet integrated with our lifestyles," said Krzanich. "We're focused on addressing this engineering innovation c

What is Malicious Softwares? What are the type of Malicious Softwares.

What is Malicious Softwares? What are the type of Malicious Softwares. What is Malware?:      Malware is a malicious software.  This software include the program that exploit the vulnerabilities in computing system.  The purpose of malicious software is harm you or steal the information from you. Types of  Malicious Softwares: There are three characteristics of malwares: 1 Self-replicating malware actively attempts to propagate by creating new copies, or instances, of itself. Malware may also be propagated passively, by a user copying it accidentally, for example, but this isn't self-replication. 2 The population growth of malware describes the overall change in the number of malware instances due to self-replication. Malware that doesn't selfreplicate will always have a zero population growth, but malware with a zero population growth may self-replicate. 3 Parasitic malware requires some other executable code in order to exist. Natural sense of touch restored with bionic hand

Image
We have the world at our fingertips. A sense of touch can sometimes be as important as sight, helping us to avoid crushing delicate objects or ensuring that we hold on firmly when carrying hot cups of coffee. Now, for the first time, a person who lost his left hand has had a near-natural sense of touch restored thanks to a prosthesis. "I didn't realise it was possible," says Dennis Aabo Sørensen, who is so far the only person to have been fitted with the new prosthesis. "The feeling is very close to the sensation you get when you touch things with your normal hand." To restore Sørensen's sense of touch,  Silvestro Micera  at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne and his colleagues implanted tiny electrodes inside the ulnar and median nerve bundles in Sørensen's upper arm. Between them, the ulnar nerve – which runs down to the little finger and ring finger – and the median nerve – which runs down to the index and middle fingers –

Gorgeous iPhone 6 concept shows how amazing iOS 7 would look on a big, bezel-free display

Image
Unsurprisingly,  Apple  has remained tight-lipped about the future of the  iPhone . And despite the slow trickle of news regarding  phablet-sized devices  and  sapphire displays , we’ve yet to see any authentic hardware leaks up to this point. Instead, concepts have been tiding us over, and  the latest from  Ciccarese Design  are just as sleek as  the others we have covered in the past . Federico Ciccarese’s designs showcase both 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models of the unannounced iPhone 6, complete with displays that reach the edge of the phone, curved backs similar to the  LG G Flex  and the return of the Touch ID fingerprint reader. Ciccarese has also stacked his mockups alongside an iPhone 5s in order to give a sense of scale. Check out the comparison below, and  head to  Ciccarese Design  for the rest of the images.

What Do You Think of Microsoft’s New Logo?

Image
Microsoft’s shaking things up for the first time since 1987 with its updated logo, which looks a lot lighter and more colorful. Its heavy, boldfaced logo is a thing of the past, banished today with the opening of the 23rd Microsoft store in Boston. On top of the light, gray text that eliminates all the bold, heaviness of the past logo, the Microsoft flag is incorporated into the design, adding four pops of color that are sure to grab one’s attention. The lightness of the new design aims to “signal the future — a newness and freshness,” said Jeff Hansen, Microsoft’s general manager of brand strategy, and the colors signify “the diversity of our products.” Don’t expect to see the new logo everywhere, though. Hansen said Microsoft will take its time integrating it across all the company’s products.

After Pune's IT revolution, now it's Nashik

Ever since Pune embraced the IT revolution , there has been no stopping to the growth of this city. With some concerted efforts by the government to give impetus to this sector, bigger giants in the software industry shifted their base there. The express highway between Mumbai and Pune too worked wonders for this sector, resulting into a boom in the real estate industry. Now, Nashik city finds itself on the same course.
